Meet NDQ at the Retail Supply Chain & Logistics Expo in London
On 11 and 12 November, NDQ will be exhibiting at the Retail Supply Chain & Logistics Expo at ExCeL London, one of the UK’s leading events for retail supply chain and logistics professionals.
At stand R1440, NDQ will show UK retailers how a storage hub in Zeebrugge (BE) can help them streamline the flow of goods from European suppliers to their Retail Distribution Centres (RDCs) across the UK and Ireland.
A strategic European hub for UK retail
For UK retailers sourcing from multiple suppliers across mainland Europe, keeping all inventory in the UK is not necessarily the most efficient option.
NDQ offers an alternative. From its strategic location in the Port of Zeebrugge, right next to the RoRo terminals, NDQ can act as a central European inventory and consolidation hub. Goods from different European suppliers are brought together and stored in Zeebrugge, ready for efficient onward distribution to RDCs across the UK and Ireland.
This keeps inventory closer to European suppliers and close to frequent cross-Channel connections. Instead of moving stock to the UK before it is needed, retailers can replenish their RDC network from Zeebrugge in line with demand.
